Regional Museum of Travnik

Foundation of the Museum is natural, archaeological, ethnological and numismatic collection. From 1950. the museum has collected, preserved and researched cultural-historical and natural artefacts and exhibits from Travnik region, Bosnia and Herzegovina and wider, from all over the world.

The museum houses a gallery, a rich library and a photo collection. It is also engaged in publishing and preserving the cultural heritage in Travnik.

Memorial Museum "Birthplace of Ivo Andrić"

Ivo Andrić, the Nobel Prize winner for literature, was born in this house on October 9. 1892. The house was reconstructed in 1974 as the Memorial Museum of Ivo Andrić. The museum houses artefacts related to the life and work of this renowned writer.

Medieval fortress “Stari Grad”

Represents one of the most beautiful and most preserved facilities of medieval Bosnia, on which later historical periods left their specific marks.
The Tower hosted a permanent ethnographic exhibition presenting the lifestyle of all people from the Travnik region, as well as picture-boards portraying cultural, historical and natural heritage of Travnik.
