Of special value to the library and museum are the old editions of books and magazines.
The oldest book in the library was printed in 1583, with books from 1601 and 1643 and a significant number of books from the 18th, 19th and first part of the 20th Century. Needless to say, we are both updating and trying to acquire the newest editions, especially those with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Travnik as their subjects.
The library collection today has 7.663 monographic units and 2.551 periodic publications (478 different titles).
So far two catalogues have been published: a Catalogue of editions on Bosnia and Herzegovina and the city of Travnik I and II, as well as the second, extended edition of the Catalogue Nr. 1, for the purpose of making the public familiar with the works on offer.
The Library is of the so-called closed type, but all are welcome to use our books within the museum space.
