Of particular value are magazines where Andri\u0107 published his first works, the first editions of his books (\u201cEx-ponto\u201d 1918, \u201cDisquietudes\u201d, \u201cThe Journey of Alija \u0110erzelez\u201d, 1920), the first editions of his novels from 1945 (\u201cThe Bridge on Drina River\u201d, \u201cThe Days of the Consuls\u201d and \u201cMiss\u201d). A special place in the exhibition is given to books signed by the author, as his personal gift to the museum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Photographs by Miodrag \u0110ura\u0161evi\u0107 were taken in Stockholm in 1961 during the ceremony where the Nobel Prize for literature was awarded to Ivo Andri\u0107.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Two copies of the charter and the medallion given to the author are displayed, as well as photographs from the traditional \u201cSaint Lucia\u2019s Day\u201d in Sweden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">The library has a small art collection too:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>\u201cIn Honor of Ivo Andri\u0107\u201d<\/strong><\/span>, the graphic map by Ivan Rabuzin <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">\u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">The Story of Vizier\u2019s Elephant\u201d<\/span><\/strong>, art composition by Ahmed Hrustanovi\u0107 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u201cIvo Andri\u0107\u201d<\/span><\/strong>, a portrait, by academic painter Ante Mamu\u0161a <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Sculpture <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u201cIvo Andri\u0107\u201d<\/span><\/strong> by local artist Marko Gido<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-30 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/muzejtravnik.ba\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/interijer_5.jpg\" alt=\"interijer_5\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/muzejtravnik.ba\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/interijer_5.jpg 600w, https:\/\/muzejtravnik.ba\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/interijer_5-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More than 700 books and literary magazines from the former Yugoslavia and many other countries are on display, showing Ivo Andri\u0107\u2019s literary opus.
